Fabric Cord Keepers (#2 of 7 progressive sewing classes)
This is the second class in a set of seven sewing classes designed to progressively introduce new sewing skills while creating a new small project each week. It covers basics in using a sewing machine and overlocker and introduces the use of velcro. The classes are independent of each other so there is no requirement to attend all classes.
You will make simple fabric cord keepers that can be used to keep power cords tidy and untangled, or alternatively in a smaller format to be used with a scarf. We will have a range of fabric to choose from.
All tools and materials will be provided for you. You are welcome to bring your own fabric if you prefer, just let us know and we can advise you how much you will require. You are also welcome to bring your own sewing machine.
